We are currently searching for a Research Nurse to provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Human Genome Research Institute. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services. This opportunity is full-time, and it is on site in Bethesda, MD. Duties & Responsibilities Attend study sections and convey relevant issues to Program staff; manage study section review schedules; track centralized email communications; participate in NIMH scientific committees and working groups. Support Program staff with review of Human Subject Protection Plans; gathering necessary information and documentation necessary to address Human Subjects concerns identified by reviewers and program staff for to-be-funded applications. Work with Program staff to assist investigators with setting up Recruitment Monitoring Report RMR targets. Support Program staff with review of progress reports for completeness, adherence to Human Subjects Protection Plan, adherence to RMR targets, and other NIH mandatory reporting requirements. Support NIMH Loan Repayment Program LRP Lead with the NIMH LRP, including tracking and confirming LRP application data, finalizing LRP pay plans, and working with the NIMH Budget Office. Conduct studies and assessment and report findings with recommendations. Conduct assessments of standard operating procedures SOP and prepares recommendations for improvement. Review staffing data for gaps in knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to conduct operations. Conduct policy analysis of legislative and regulatory requirements. Attend routine staff and business meetings for awareness and to take notes for distribution Conduct formal evaluations for operations and performance and prepares reports and dashboards. With assistance from data analysts, write queries and packages to conduct deep analysis of business data and prepare advanced reports and technical findings documentation. Conduct comparative analysis of organizational spending over time and design time series reporting. Perform job task analysis documenting inventory of billets, knowledge, skills and abilities or the workforce and analyzing gaps. Monitor trends and research by management associations and academic institutions and develop job aids, instruction. and other materials to support management analysts. # SOAR #LI-DD1 Requirements Minimum Education – Associates in Nursing or related field Minimum of 2 years of pediatrics experience.
